PRIVACY POLICY AT MARSK CAMP A/S
We only collect personal data in cases where it is relevant to us, and we will only collect personal data if it is relevant to your activity at Marsk Camp A/S.
When collecting, processing and using your personal data, we always comply with all relevant and applicable legal regulations.
We will only retain your personal data for as long as we are either under a legal obligation to do so or as long as it is relevant for the purpose for which it was collected.
Information we collect
If you wish to purchase and receive a product or service from us, we need to collect certain personal data in order to complete the transaction and to offer you our services. Among other things, we use cookies to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart while you use our webshop.
We may collect information such as name, email address, postal address, delivery address (if different from postal address), phone number and payment information.
Marsk Camp A/S collects and processes your personal data when you do the following:
- Visit our website
- Completing a purchase of our products
- Send us questions, complaints or feedback
Processing basis and purposes
We collect your general contact information such as name and address in order to deliver the product or service you have purchased from us. We collect your email address in order to send you an order confirmation and a delivery confirmation.
When you pay for your product or service, we collect your name, card data and IP address. The data collected in connection with the payment transaction is used and stored only for payment processing and fulfillment of the agreement. When completing payments, some of your data will be passed on to Nets, MobilePay, Reepay and Vibrandt including information necessary to complete or support the payment, such as the total purchase amount and billing information.
If you do not wish to provide the personal data required to complete a product purchase, you will unfortunately not be able to purchase products from us on our website.
Your data (except your e-mail address if you have consented to its processing for the purpose of receiving offers) will be deleted 5 years after you have received your product or service.
Other recipients of personal data
We do not sell your personal data to third parties and we do not transfer your personal data to third countries.
We have our website at Vestjysk Marketing and payment system through Nets, Danske Bank, Reepay and Vibrandt which acts as our data processor. All personal data that you provide on our website will be stored in Vestjysk Marketing's data centers.
We use external companies as suppliers to deliver our services in the best possible way. These external suppliers are data processors and in some cases process personal data in connection with their provision of services to us. Our data processors only process personal data according to our instructions and in accordance with the legal requirements for data processors.
We have entered into data processing agreements with our data processors, which is our and your guarantee that they comply with applicable rules on the protection of your personal data.
Newsletters
If you choose to sign up for our email newsletter, the email address you submit to us will be sent to MailChimp, which provides us with email marketing services. We consider MailChimp to be a third-party data processor.
Your email address will remain in our own - and MailChimp's - database as long as we continue to use MailChimp's email marketing services or until you specifically request to be removed from the list. You can do this by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links included in our newsletters or by requesting removal via email. When requesting removal via email, please send your email to us using the email account that subscribes to our newsletters.
When you sign up for the newsletter you provide your name and email address. We only use this information to send you the newsletter and to personalize the content.
Information about your use of the newsletters - including whether the newsletters are opened, how long they are opened, when the email is deleted and whether links are clicked is collected by our IT system in anonymized form. We use this information to improve our service so that we can better target and customize content according to the recipient's interests.
Your personal data will be stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Upon unsubscribing, the information is deleted from us and our data processor.
We do not disclose your data to third parties.
Your rights
As the data subject, you have a number of rights that we must ensure are fulfilled at all times. You have the right to request the following from us:
- Accessing and amending your personal data
- Getting personal data deleted
You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
