Terms and conditions

On this subpage you will find useful information about Marsk Camp. These terms and conditions apply to all bookings, sales and other service deliveries in general, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing between the parties. Please note that your booking is not covered by the Consumer Contracts Act's rules on the right of withdrawal. The sale of accommodation is covered by a special exemption provision in section 18(2)(12) of the Consumer Contracts Act. The booking made is thus not covered by a 14-day right of withdrawal. The reason for this is that re-rental of a reserved tent/campervan pitch that is canceled a few days before arrival will often not be possible.

Ordering and payment

Bookings can be made both online at www.marskcamp.dk and by manual booking by phone +45 7218 6780, where a booking is created based on the information you provide. After the booking is registered, you will receive a booking confirmation, which we ask you to read carefully. It is your responsibility as a guest to ensure that the confirmation matches the information you have given us and your wishes for your stay. If you do not receive an email with your reservation number, please check your spam and/or junk mail or contact us on +45 7218 6780. The booking is personal and cannot be transferred to others. For online payment you can use the following cards: Dankort, VISA/Dankort, VISA and MasterCard.

Price

All prices stated on our website; www.marskcamp.dk and in person are stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes - unless otherwise expressly stated or clearly stated in the context in question.

Payment terms

When booking via our online system as well as in person, we have the right to ask you to provide payment card/credit card information for automatic deduction of payment for your stay.

Cancellation due to illness

Cancellation insurance costs DKK 250,- per booked unit and must be booked at the same time as the stay. After payment, the Cancellation Insurance can no longer be ordered/canceled. Cancellation of paid stays where no cancellation insurance has been purchased will result in the rules for cancellation. The cancellation insurance covers until 12:00 noon on the day of arrival. The full amount (less the price of the Cancellation Insurance) will be returned upon submission of documentation in the form of a medical certificate. Only written cancellation via email is valid.

Cancellation of stay

You have the right to cancel your booking up to 30 days before arrival for a full refund. If you cancel within 30-14 days before arrival, you can get half of the price of your stay back. If you cancel within 14 days of arrival, the right to a refund is forfeited. An administration fee of DKK 300 is charged for each cancellation.

Cancellation of stays and events over 15 people

Once you have made a reservation, you have the right to cancel the reservation up to 30 days before the start date for a full refund. If you cancel within 30-14 days before the start date, you can get half of the reservation price back. If canceled within 14 days before the start date, the right to a refund is forfeited.' Regarding numbers, this must be informed no later than 1 week before the start date.

An administration fee of DKK 300 will be charged for each cancellation.

Cancellation during your stay

In case of acute illness, accident or death in the immediate family, make sure you are covered by your private travel insurance. Our Cancellation policy does NOT cover if you have to interrupt your stay.

Arrival and Departure for Glamping stays

Arrival from 15:00 - for arrivals later than 17:00, please notify in advance. Departure no later than 11:00 am The rental unit must be left tidy and in good condition. Crockery must be cleaned and in place and refrigerator must be emptied. Waste must be placed in the appropriate waste containers. Otherwise, an extra fee will be charged.

Guest responsibilities during glamping stays

The tenant of glamping tents is fully liable for the inventory in the rental unit. Defects and damage caused by the tenant are settled upon departure. The person who signed the rental agreement is also liable for damage caused by other occupants and guests in the rental unit. The rental units may be occupied by a maximum of the number of people stated in the price list. Persons over the age of 18 must be present during the entire stay.

Complaints

If for any reason you do not receive your booking confirmation confirming your purchase and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the following address: welcome@marskcamp.com Complaints about the booking process or the booking itself must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by ordinary review of your booking confirmation. Complaints must be made in writing. Complaints about the product (stay) must be made within 12 hours of arrival so that Marsk Camp can rectify the problem.

Forgotten things

Forgotten items are stored for 30 days from the departure date. After the 30 days, items are delivered for recycling. It is the guest's responsibility to contact us about forgotten items. If we have to send forgotten items, the guest is responsible for shipping costs.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in indoor common areas and glamping tents. This also applies to e-cigarettes. If this is violated, a cleaning fee of DKK 1500,- will be charged for smoking in the area in general: Show consideration in outdoor common areas and remember that cigarette butts belong in the trash can.

Prices and discounts

Prices at Marsk Camp are adjusted regularly and the current prices can be found on our website. We reserve the right to cancel a rental agreement due to typing and/or printing errors. Discounts cannot be combined.

Force Majeure and similar conditions

If the performance of the rental agreement is not possible - or is significantly impeded - due to force majeure or comparable circumstances, including but not limited to War, riots, natural disasters, oil and gasoline rationing, pollution disasters, epidemics, pandemics, suspension of currency trading, unusual weather conditions, drought, floods, border closures, traffic conditions, strikes, lockouts and the like, which could not be foreseen at the time the rental agreement was concluded, Marsk Camp is entitled to cancel the rental agreement as Marsk Camp cannot be held responsible in said cases. In such cases, Marsk Camp is obliged to inform the lessee as soon as possible. The lessee is not entitled to a refund of paid amounts. However, the lessee will receive a credit note for the amount paid. The voucher can be used to purchase a new stay within a 3-year period.
